Sailor released the Naginata Togi Ebonite Enryu on October 24, 2026. Its October 14 announcement specifies 450 pens worldwide: 225 for Japan and 225 overseas. Buyers outside Japan can compare ordering from a Japanese retailer with buying from a local dealer.

Coloured ebonite and a 21K Naginata Togi nib

The serial-numbered pen pairs coloured ebonite with a 21K Naginata Togi nib. Japan's listed price is ¥275,000 including tax, with MF, M and B options. Include your preferred nib when asking a retailer, rather than relying on the product name alone.

Check stock for your preferred nib

Sailor cautions that sales may already have ended. We have not verified retailer inventory. Ask whether your preferred nib can be ordered, the conditions for holding it and the payment deadline.

If you have not chosen a nib, ask the retailer or manufacturer whether MF, M and B writing samples are available.

Compare the total cost of ordering from Japan and buying locally

Check whether the Japanese retailer can ship directly to your destination. Compare the same nib and quantity, including the item price, shipping and destination taxes. Also check return conditions, the return address and the after-sales contact. The Japanese listed price of ¥275,000 including tax is not the total for overseas delivery.
