The shop will not ship to Japan. What can you check next?
You have found an overseas product, but Japan is missing from the delivery options or the site says it cannot ship there. If you want it delivered to Japan, check the website message and the shop’s shipping policy first. This guide explains what to read, how to ask about direct delivery and how to compare another seller if needed.

Check whether the restriction concerns the country or this item
Read the delivery policy and product page again. Is Japan simply absent from the country selector? Does the policy explicitly exclude delivery to Japan? Are there conditions attached to the particular item? The cart display alone may not explain the reason.
Keep the exact message and product link so the supplier can address your situation. Alongside asking whether shipment is possible, check which product, quantity and payment arrangements are accepted for a Japanese destination. Permission from the seller to ship and eligibility to import are separate questions; one answer does not establish the other.
Ask the shop about direct delivery to Japan
Use the shop's official contact channel and identify the item, quantity and destination country. If the website cannot take the order, ask about shipping and an ordering process the supplier accepts. Replace details in brackets before sending this enquiry:
Subject: Can you ship this item directly to Japan? Hello, I am interested in [quantity] of this item: [product URL and model/colour] Japan is not available in the delivery options. Can you ship directly to my address in Japan? If possible, please confirm the shipping cost, payment options and ordering process. Thank you.
If the reply says an arrangement is possible despite the website options, confirm the shipping price, payment methods and ordering steps. If the shop cannot ship to Japan, compare another seller offering the same product.
Compare another seller that can deliver to Japan
Use the manufacturer's dealer information or the model number to find another seller. You can also ask the manufacturer which dealers sell to Japan. Check the model, colour, size and quantity against your request, then ask about delivery to Japan and expected dispatch.
If the product is also sold in Japan, compare goods, shipping, timing, the return address and return shipping costs. Put each seller’s total and conditions together, then choose the option that fits your budget and when you need the item.
Get help with the emails when the conditions are unclear
PORTLETTER can email the supplier you have selected to check direct delivery to Japan and purchase conditions. We organize the response, a provisional total including shipping and taxes, and any unresolved questions so you can decide whether to buy.
Goods are delivered directly from the supplier to you. We confirm delivery and transaction conditions and do not proceed with requests we cannot handle. Start with the product link, necessary specifications, quantity and reply email. The initial enquiry, basic research and estimate are free. Review the seller’s answer and our estimate before deciding whether to request purchase arrangements.
